A while back the folk over at The Plow created a great poster that’s now been turned into a t-shirt. You can’t buy the shirt, but you can get one free if your buy mosquito malaria nets. It’s a great shirt, and there’s only two days left to get one! Hurry!

yeah, I’m planning on getting mine, just tomorrow after I’m paid.
Nathan, you could still buy a mosquito net to help out and just offer not to receive the shirt or have them send it to someone else.
Hate to think you didn’t want to help someone out because you were offended.

I do feel strongly about having televangelists and republicans on the list. But not for the reason you are thinking. First I wanted to make sure that the list was balanced, not just a “right wing” hate list. Also, the “left wing” has a huge dislike for people who place themselves in those groups. I wanted to make sure that the list had something that the person can identify themselves with, and something that they are repulsed by. In that we can see that we are ALL sinners, even the best of us, but Christ first loved us anyway. In turn we need to love the worst of sinners, if that be a homosexual or republican, the same as Christ did for us.
I hope this helps. This shirt is meant to offend, and start discussion. But that should all lead to a better understanding of our sin, and the redemptive love of Christ.
Thanks,
Corey (designer of shirt)

Portorikan, I actually wasn’t offended. Just made me ponder why they were there. It seemed to me to be two out of place categories in an otherwise apparent list.
Yes, the cause is a good one and I wouldn’t not donate because I was offended.
Corey, thanks for taking the time to explain. That makes sense to me.
